LASERWAR / Cybertag

LASERWAR is a Russian-based laser tag company founded by twin brothers Alexey and Sergey Tereschenkov in 2008. The main line of tactical gear includes realistic replicas of military-style gear and can be accompanied by a wide range of game accessories. They also produce a more traditional laser tag system called Cybertag that features lights on a vest with a more traditional phaser.

Getting the chance to play Cybertag by LASERWAR was a very unique experience. The packs have a steady red beam on the two handed phasers with a vest that vibrates to let you know when you have been tagged. You can be tagged a number of times before you hear the words "all lives depleted" accompanied by the lights on the vest turning purple for several seconds. At the end of that time you hear "lives regenerated" and are right back in it. This system feels accurate and easily intuitive to learn the sounds and indicators during the game.
