Ready 4 IAAPA
IAAPA is now only a week away and I am excited to see what all the laser tag manufacturers are bringing to the table this year! As you can see, I have got my game plan ready to go! So it seems like a good time to share my personal top five tips for maneuvering through the week in Orlando. I cannot stress strongly enough that printing the map in advance and working out a plan of priority is such a help! Yes, I know there is a map on the app, but I find enlarging it on a photoc

An Early Laser Storm Jacket
This week for Museum Collection Monday we spotlight an amazing jacket that is new to the collection (with huge thanks to Gordy and Bill at Laser Storm!), but is actually one of the very first pieces of clothing ever related to Laser Storm. It originally came from a player from arena 18, one of Bob Cooney’s earlier arenas. Thank you to Laser Storm for both the jacket and the background history about it! Comments or Questions? These Tees Will Grab Your Attention!
With nearly 450 laser tag T-shirts now on display in the new T-Shirt Vault, a few of them will really grab your attention! Hand Signed Jersey From 2014 Zone World Championships
This Museum Collection Monday let’s take a look at a VERY rare tournament jersey. This is one of only ten produced for the 2014 Zone World Championships and is hand signed by the captains and vice captains of the Australian teams. As this tournament was filmed for a documentary, seven of the ten jerseys were given to Kickstarter backers, making this a particularly rare souvenir. You can see more cool laser tag history at LaserTagMuseum.com . …and you can consider this a bit o

Tivia Tags To 25 Miles (What, Like It’s Hard? LOL!)
When I say something like “It would be cool to laser tag 25 miles in a weekend” it sounds simple enough, but actually being able to execute a plan and do it is not quite as easy! Especially with trying to achieve this in only two days, which is what I did this past Friday and Saturday. This idea involved working with a variety of factors and unpredictable scenarios and I realize I could not have accomplished this goal just anywhere. Truly, the support of my local home laser t

Preparing to Tag…A LOT!
It’s funny how an idea can pop into your head and once you say it out loud something happens to make it shift from thought to reality. Well, a few weeks ago the thought occurred to me that it would be cool to accomplish 25 miles of laser tag over the course of a single weekend. After all, I have been advocating for 5K challenges for nearly five years now, so this seemed like a unique way to step things up. This concept is made up of part “can I actually do that?”, part “add i

This Week’s Star
It’s Museum Collection Monday and this week’s “star” is Star Laser Force. Founded in April of 1985 by Bill Lewis with the support of technical engineer Lee Weinstein, the creation of this system was also inspired by Star Wars (much like Photon). Star Laser Force opened one location in Houston. Check out more of this collection at LaserTagMuseum.com . Comments or Questions?
