He’s Her Lobster: Laser Tagging in Maine
While laser tagging in Maine, I took along a little friend (see, he’s her lobster) as I paid a visit to the Family Time Dine and Play Arcade that features Splats Laser Tag inside the Auburn Mall. Maine was on my radar now that I’m attempting to tag in all 50 states again for a third time. Some states will be more of a challenge to get to geographically, so I thought it would be good to start the year checking off the northeastern-most part of the country early. However, findi

On The Road Again
This weekend I was back on the road again! Winter road trips can be completely weather dependent, but when I saw the opportunity with clear roads to the east (and nothing but snow to the west) I decided this was a good time for an impromptu New England adventure. Searching for arenas I had not previously visited was what led me to check out the CyberBlast game at Fun City Trampoline Park in Goffstown, NH, and I’m so glad I did! When I arrived, I was first greeted by the Gener

A Real Stunner
It’s Museum Collection Monday and this week we showcase a real…Stunner! This Stunner phaser station could allow players who were not on the field to be part of the fun while generating additional revenue for a laser tag center. Listen It’s Laser Tag: New Year, New Experiences
What better way to kick off the new year than by having a new experience? That’s exactly what happened this week when I was joined by some friends (who are also my coworkers) who were excited to play their very first-ever game of laser tag! Our “Listen It’s Laser Tag” radio squad included “Listen It’s Liz” Ellis (the voice of the “Listen It’s Liz” podcast), her stepson Benjamin, “Keeping the Traffic Moving” Kayla and me. We all paid a visit to The Family Fun Factory in New Ha

3rd Time’s the Charm!
I have decided to take a run at laser tagging in all 50 states for a THIRD time! I’m officially no longer being wishy-washy about this. Today I’m starting this year by getting a plan together. It’s been just over two years since I completed my “Oops, I Did It Again” tag tour playing in all 50 states twice and since then I have already played yet again in 23 states for a third time, meaning I have just over half the states left to do 3x. Once I write a goal down it becomes rea

2025 Laser Tag Year in Review
With inches of snow on my car, I won’t be going anywhere tonight, lol! It’s New Year’s Eve and instead I’m just wrapped up in a warm blanket (with Heli on my shoulder), enjoying my coffee and looking back on this past year with a lot of gratitude for all the things that have happened. 2025 brought a lot of laser tag highlights and this is the time when I like to reflect on those cool moments that I’ve been fortunate enough to experience during the year. I call this my top ten

Duel vs Dual
It’s Museum Collection Monday, so let’s check out Laser Duel. I always second guess myself on the spelling of this system from the early 2000s because, while “duel” makes perfectly logical sense, the “dual” lasers were a highlighted feature, so I think the name could have easily gone either way! :) Check out more laser tag history at LaserTagMuseum.com . Santa Plays Laser Tag (Elf Edition)
Did anyone else have this same conversation, talking to themselves? No? Just me? “Time to wrap the presents…where did I put them?” “You hid them where you couldn’t forget them this year.” “Where did I hide them? Under the laser tag stuff?” “No, they aren’t there.” (Turns out some of them were) With that, I think it’s time for the annual recitation of “Santa Plays Laser Tag”. Side note (now that I’m actually wrapping): David Huddleston remains the best cinematic portrayal of S

All Is Merry and Darklight
Am I the only one who sees Darklight and immediately thinks of Christmas lights? Such a merry system! :) It’s Christmas Eve and today I’m carrying on someone else’s holiday tradition. In memory of another laser tag elf, I’m doing what she used to do and passing out candy bars to store employees who have to work on Christmas Eve. I always admired that she did this. When I purchased my carrying pouch earlier this week I told the local store owner that I would be honored if she
