Featuring Force: Mark 3
Now that I’m back, so is Museum Collection Monday and this week we feature two Laserforce Mark 3 packs (circa 1992-1994). At this stage the colored helmets and chest packs were introduced on a much lighter suit and the laser tube was replaced with a “more robust laser diode.” For more laser tag history visit LaserTagMuseum.com . Closing Time (Laser Tag Day Conclusion)
Tivia runs on Dunkin’…or Starbucks…or pretty much any kind of coffee! So I grabbed a Frappuccino with an extra shot of espresso before making the four hour drive across Georgia, arriving just in time to play one final game before closing time at Frames and Games in Pooler, GA. A perfect way to conclude this Laser Tag Day with an awesome group and some CyberBlast! I had played here previously, but went out of my way to return so that I could end this day dedicated to all laser

All in for Albany (GA)
Only about 24 hours prior I was flying to Georgia out of Albany, NY and by this time on Laser Tag Day I was driving back over the FL/GA state line to Albany, GA to pay a visit to the All American Fun Park. I’m all in! This was a cool pirate ship themed arena where they had upgraded in 2019 to Laserforce Gen 8. The manager told me they had been running Q-Zar right up until that point! Now, I was crossing my fingers that by signing in I would not only earn a travel achievement,

An Arena That Makes You Say “W.O.W.”
My next stop in Tallahassee was to the Fun Station for some Delta Strike Evolution in an arena that makes you say “W.O.W.” This is both an assessment of the size and scope of the truly original artwork as well as the overall “War Of the Worlds” theming inside. I was joined by Kaia for a 1v1 game after we suited up and made our way through our respective team doors. Once inside you couldn’t help be impressed by the unique neon wall art that carried across the entirety of the t

Is It Hot In Here?
The rest of my Laser Tag Day found me crisscrossing over the Florida-Georgia Line to District 850 in Tallahassee, FL, where the weather was hot, but the arena was hotter! As a New Yorker, I had no complaints about the Florida weather! :) This site was using Zone Helios 2 gear, which was perfect because one of my goals for today was to celebrate using a variety of different laser tag systems before it was over. This was a very well thought out two-story arena design. The New Y

Celebrating with my 700th Arena
In celebration of International Laser Tag Day, I wanted to mark the occasion with a milestone of my own by playing my 700th laser tag arena during a visit to Recoil Trampoline Park in Valdosta, GA. I gave a great deal of thought to the selection of this arena, which has been on my radar for quite some time. Owner Trent Coggins has been a familiar face at Amusement Expo where I recently discussed my plans with him. I was confident his business would be an excellent location fo

Happy International Laser Tag Day!
Happy International Laser Tag Day! As I prepare for a VERY busy day of laser tag I’m stopping at a roadside stand for some boiled peanuts. “Are you calling ME a Miss Valdosta Feed and Grain?” Lol! Can you guess where I’ll be laser tagging today? It’s a big day for lots of us who love laser tag. Inventor George Carter III and technical engineer James Dooley launched the laser tag industry with the development of Photon, the very first laser tag and we still celebrate it annua

Laser Tag Day on the Radio
It was a privilege to be able to promote International Laser Tag Day this morning on three local radio stations to spotlight the anniversary of the game, which began with the grand opening of Photon in Dallas, TX 42 years ago on March 28, 1984. Tomorrow is the actual day to play, as every year the date of March 28th is celebrated across the industry in honor of Photon. I want to thank all the morning show hosts who welcomed me to “talk tag” with them on the air! Laser Tag Day

Amusement Expo 2026
Amusement Expo International returned to Las Vegas, taking over the west hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center with two days of education followed by two days of the annual trade show for professionals across all ends of the family entertainment industry. Once again I took this opportunity to catch up with all the laser tag manufacturers in attendance. In lieu of a separate laser tag education track, I interviewed the reps from each manufacturer about advice for potential o
