24 Hours in Kentucky
Last weekend I set off on a whirlwind 24 hour tour of Kentucky, that led me to make a loop from Louisville to Owensboro and back, starting and ending my adventure at Malibu Jack’s. As soon as I landed in Louisville, I made a beeline for Malibu Jack’s Louisville first, where I prepared to check out their Laser Invasion arena. I entered the briefing room to find the bright rows of Laserforce Gen 7 packs and, since this is Kentucky, commemorated my first stop with…wait for it…a

Returning to the Planet
It must have been about ten years ago, quite early on at the start of my blog, that I first visited Laser Planet in Waterbury, CT. Since then the ownership has changed hands, it evolved first to Laser Planet Plus and is now known as Connecticut’s Laser Planet. I decided a return to the planet was well overdue. Back in the day when I was just beginning to blog I was a bit timid about asking to take photos in the arena…needless to say, I have totally gotten over that, lol! This

I’m a Moving Target!
I have played laser tag at many Urban Air locations over the years, so I know what I typically expect to find is an open-air style arena with bright walls, often a half-level overlooking the arena and Delta strike gear in the briefing area. However, in addition to all that, when I visited Urban Air in Waterbury, CT I found two smiling little kids eagerly waiting for someone to join them for a game and I was delighted to be in the right place at the right time to be their “mov

Tagging In The Zone…The Galaxy Zone!
There’s nothing I love more than a road trip to be among the first to discover a new laser tag arena! That’s why this weekend I decided that after working all morning I would just hop in my car and have an adventure checking out the new Galaxy Zone in Oakville, CT, which has been open for less than a month. I arrived and was first greeted by a smiling young woman at the front counter. My first impression was that this business has a nice, good-sized play space for kids and I

Weekend Adventures, Velcro Solutions
There must be a tournament coming up because Sakura and I now have to share the bubble wrap to keep us in one piece, lol! So this happened (it’s only a sprain, I will just baby it to be on the safe side). So, for Museum Collection Monday, I pondered which packs use Velcro to match my aircast and I came up with Laser Port Pro (this pic doesn’t show the Velcro strap, so just trust me), which was founded by Gary Sanders in 2000 and manufactured by Activity Games, Inc. While I jo

How To Turn A Quiet Night Around
“Great exercise!” “Want to play again!” “Pretty amazing!” These are the words I overheard being said following a game at The Fun Warehouse, played by a group of people that didn’t leave their homes planning to play laser tag last night. Let me explain how a quiet evening turned completely around. Occasionally, every laser tag arena will encounter a slow night, often for reasons beyond their control. When I left my office and headed for the arena I had a feeling that this migh
