Jack and Jill Were Up a Different Hill
I had planned to meet up with Emily for one more game at Jack and Jill Lanes in Lehi, UT. However, I arrived and waited for a bit, but I didn’t see her…or the laser tag, for that matter. It turns out there are actually two bowling alleys called Jack and Jill’s in the area and I ended up at the wrong one! Once we got that figured out (and I ended up in Lehi about ten minutes later) I realized that, while this was up a different hill, it really had a spectacular view of a few l

Rad Tag Really Is Some Rad Tag!
Rad Tag in Pleasant Grove, UT has a really impressive arena and is very aptly name because it was, in fact, really rad tag! You can tell immediately when you walk through the doors that this is a really cool Lasertron arena. You know because the ob deck here consists of a giant picture window giving a full-wall size view into the two-story arena. This is so smart because it grabs the eye with the brightly lit sectors, it allows a spectator to observe and engage with the game

Playing Coin Crazy with Full Force
I was excited to visit Coin Crazy Family Fun Center in Spanish Fork, UT, where we got to play some Laserforce Gen 7 in their city apocalypse themed arena. Emily (aka Dwan) met up with me for a game. We vested up and were ready to go 1v1 in a with literal “full Force”. She has played tag here before and told me ahead of time that she really liked this arena. I wholeheartedly agree! We tagged around the central focal point, this singed building, that anchors the theme. You can

Starting and Ending My Day in a “Rush”
I was able to visit two Rush Funplex locations while in Utah. The first was in Orem at the start of the day and the other was in West Jordan at the end. The unique circumstances of this day made both stops very literally a rush! Due to a last minute change in travel plans I had to complete visits to five arenas before 3:00 in order to catch my new flight, so I first headed to Orem and walked in the door bright and early when they opened at 10:00. I am very appreciative that t

Taking Utah By (Laser) Storm
I closed out my first night in Utah with a visit to Laser Assault in Provo, which was long overdue, but well worth the wait! At the end of an amazing day I continued on to the Laser Storm arena that Brett (aka Snake) had set up with his original business partner, Aaron, following the closure of the former Storm arena in that town. Now Brett operates the business with a new partner, Chris, and I got to jump into a few games with the awesome group of regulars who showed up for

The Original Armageddon Girl
The 2026 Armageddon laser tag tournament is only about four months away and if I were to refer to an Armageddon Girl competing in it this year I would likely be talking about Shadowdragon, Sakura, Shel, Mama Bear, Nobody, Woz or me…which is actually more female representation than I thought was going to be on this list! If I talk about the O.G. Armageddon Girls you may think of names like Blueflame, Wanezza or Harlequin. But this weekend during the course of my tag trip to Ut

This Spud’s For You: Tagging In Idaho
As I continue my adventures laser tagging around the country, I found myself headed to Idaho Falls, ID to play some Zone Nexus out at Blast Off. After receiving my “taters for out of staters” welcome to Idaho before getting there (more on that later), I took my Spuddy Buddy along for the ride to experience a really unique arena! When I arrived at Blast Off I was greeted by Robert who has owned this family-operated business with his wife Dina for nearly 30 years. This place is

Talking About Ataka
It’s Museum Collection Monday with a look at Ataka, a system founded in 2002 by Alexander Tarasov. The red vest is complete, while the green is an example of the alternate color vest material. White Starlyte
Many people played Worlds of Wonder Lazer Tag using a black Starlyte pistol, but this white Starlyte is one of only six known salesman’s samples made in a different color. The actual phaser is the Museum Collection Monday artifact, but I have also included a pic of a white Starlyte pin (NOT vintage), which is an artist’s tribute to this rarity from the toy laser tag world.
