Getting in on the Ground Floor

Ok, that title may only be amusing to me, but follow my logic. For the longest time I would take the same set of photos in the identical three locations at every Main Event I played. At that time most of them were following the same blueprint to the letter. If the graphic on the mural was in the wrong spot I’d say to myself (mostly in jest) “this arena must be a foot shorter.” In recent years many new locations have emerged for the brand and several have gotten updates to their arenas, so I haven’t seen that familiar aesthetic in a while. However, when I visited Main Event Columbia in Maryland it was just like the old days…except just playing on the ground floor (aka a single level arena instead of two floors).

So, for the first time I got to take this photo from a different angle.

This one stayed the same. ;)

And the rest of this arena was just a cool variant with familiar walls and props placed a bit differently in a space that can be accessed by two entry doors.
