Holoz History
It’s Museum Collection Monday and this week I am not actually showcasing a complete laser tag pack. Rather, this is a front panel from Laser World’s Holoz pack shown alongside a Holoz laser tag phaser. These pieces are incomplete, originating approximately 30 years ago in California, and we are fortunate they were located. Here is a Holoz scorecard from the Modesto, CA location. The game token was a particularly lucky find too! Find more laser tag history at LaserTagMuseum.co

80’s Laser Tag Night
”I’m your Venus, I’m your fire!” If you are imagining that song being belted out by my tone-deaf self while I dance past the green base, phaser in hand and no doubt to the amusement of the teenage game marshal, then you have a pretty good idea of how much fun was had during 80s laser tag night at The Fun Warehouse in Syracuse, NY. I pulled out every 80s trend I love, from the off-the-shoulder t-shirt to the fire engine red lipstick, the fingerless gloves and glow in the dark

Laser Tag Trading Cards
When I was a kid I collected baseball cards. That hobby that was mostly motivated by my wanting to hang out with the boys in my neighborhood, but it was also likely the start of my lifelong love of collecting. So when I first learned about laser tag trading cards I was hooked on the idea immediately! Do you have any Taipans? Go fish! Ok, just kidding about that. But seriously, these are actually really cool, incredibly well-made collector trading cards that feature laser tag

The Sisterhood is Real: Guess Who’s Laser Tagging!
The sisterhood is real. While it is no surprise that I have new laser tag photos to post from over the weekend, I’m betting that nobody expected that laser tag would be taking place on the Miss Finger Lakes pageant stage prior to crowning our new pageant sisters on Saturday night, but that’s exactly what happened! Let’s start at the beginning. As a former Miss Finger Lakes myself (year redacted, lol) I return each year to help run the sound board for the annual pageant prod

Quasar (Q-Zar) Mark I
This week for Museum Collection Monday let’s go back to the 80s. Q-Zar originated as Quasar in 1987 and this is the Quasar Mark I. This first-generation version of the equipment was manufactured between 1987-1988. It included a one-handed phaser with a clear barrel and a harness with an electronics box on the front and a battery box on the back. For more laser tag history visit LaserTagMuseum.com . He’s Her Lobster: Laser Tagging in Maine
While laser tagging in Maine, I took along a little friend (see, he’s her lobster) as I paid a visit to the Family Time Dine and Play Arcade that features Splats Laser Tag inside the Auburn Mall. Maine was on my radar now that I’m attempting to tag in all 50 states again for a third time. Some states will be more of a challenge to get to geographically, so I thought it would be good to start the year checking off the northeastern-most part of the country early. However, findi

On The Road Again
This weekend I was back on the road again! Winter road trips can be completely weather dependent, but when I saw the opportunity with clear roads to the east (and nothing but snow to the west) I decided this was a good time for an impromptu New England adventure. Searching for arenas I had not previously visited was what led me to check out the CyberBlast game at Fun City Trampoline Park in Goffstown, NH, and I’m so glad I did! When I arrived, I was first greeted by the Gener

A Real Stunner
