Girls (and Moms) Just Want To Have Fun!
Happy Mother’s Day! This weekend was filled with three days of laser tag that ended with a game played with my teammate for life, my mom! Friday night there was a massive group fundraiser (a three-wristband kind of night) for a local school group and it took me all of about three seconds to meet the organizer and recognize that she is Alex’s mom based on nothing but the family resemblance. So in a way it was a weekend for moms from the get go! Saturday I had to hightail it fr

The Creator’s New Website
In the world of laser tag, when you reference “The Creator” you are likely talking about George Carter III, the creator of Photon. However, this man has a long history of being an industry innovator, an inventor and a creator of so much more beyond laser tag. George has just recently launched a brand new version of his website showcasing his many amusement innovations from more than 50 years. It is well worth a look and you can check it out at www.carterinventions.com. On thi

May the 4th Be With You…and Photon!
It’s Museum Collection Monday and May the 4th Be With You! Not only did Star Wars inspire this pun that we’ll be hearing all day, but George Carter III was inspired when he saw the movie and that is where the idea for Photon, the first laser tag, originally began! He commissioned this piece of concept art to show potential investors how this idea might actually look when translated into a real life game. For more laser tag history visit LaserTagMuseum.com. Tag That Supports Baldwinsville Pop Warner
It was another bright and early fundraiser morning at The Fun Warehouse, this time in support of Baldwinsville Pop Warner. These players came out in force to show their enthusiasm on a different kind of field! I chatted a bit with Coach Aldo about their group and what prompted this fundraiser event. As it turns out, their fundraising coordinator, Tiffany, experienced another fundraiser here for a youth hockey group and was impressed, so she set up this event to support the Po

FUNdraising with Laser Tag
I arrived at The Fun Warehouse bright and early in the morning for the second Saturday in a row, ready to be a participant in a laser tag FUNdraising event for a local youth organization. I was immediately greeted by an enthusiastic woman who was part of the Syracuse Rebels Youth Football and Cheer group who thanked me for being there as she directed me to the counter. At 9:00 am there were already lots of families on site, ready to play laser tag with a nice percentage of th
