This big, crazy, happy family started our last day of Armageddon playing our final system, Laserforce, back in Syracuse. Force was a very intense system, as so many of this year’s ‘geddon players are competitive Laserforce players. In fact, this tournament was deliberately scheduled right up against the start of Laserforce Internationals, also taking place at this same arena. Armageddon Day 3 got underway with Zone, playing Helios 3 at Ultrazone Bensalem in Pennsylvania. Day two of Armageddon began with a trek (no, not a Laser Trek) to Tron (yes, to a Lasertron) in Rochester. One of the things I was excited to bring to this year’s Armageddon tournament was a bit of laser tag history. I set up a display of packs from systems played in Armageddon’s of past years that were not being played this year and it was amazing to see people responding so enthusiastically to the nostalgia! These packs from the Laser Tag Museum Collection represent a wide spectrum of systems, many that are no longer being made or played, but that clearly brought back memories.

The Shadow Syndicate team arrived in Syracuse bright and early on Thursday morning, ready to take on Armageddon 2026!
