40th Anniversary of Photon TV Show
Today marks the 40th anniversary of the premiere of the Photon TV show (September 20, 1986). It’s a quirky little show, filmed mostly in Japan with a few scenes filmed at the Dallas Photon center. Seeing Photon on the small screen when I was a kid was my very first awareness of laser tag (and the reason I adopted the codename Tivia) so I credit it with being the place where my laser tag interest first began.
For those who remember PhotonForever.com, I never took the content down. I just rerouted it through my primary website, so you can still access it through TiviachickLovesLaserTag.com.
I am appreciative to have some behind the scenes photos to share, courtesy of several cast members including David Stay, Graham Ravey, Loretta Heywood and Tamara Johnson.
