Action Jacks was Action Packed

I had a chance to tag using Battle Company gear at Action Jacks in Conway, AR, but this was a completely different game experience!

The theme of the arena was “space avengers”, which paints a picture of an otherworldly fantasy rather than the tactical battle that I typically experience when using this system. I loved the completely original take on the design of the arena and the game felt like traditional tag more than tactical. It was thoroughly fun!

When I purchased my game pass I was given a wristband to identify the attraction I was there to experience.

During the briefing video we learned that the arena had platforms of varying elevations. I was intrigued. Parts of this playing field felt like you weee stepping up onto a stage!

I have to say, this was a pleasure because the arena was so unexpected. It seemed to be a bit of a mash-up of styles, but it came off as cool with a different vibe, making it really stand out in my mind. Anything this uniquely assembled is memorable because it breaks the mold, but in a really good way.

I went in with a group of seven and we split into teams. I was on the green team.

Behind this wall was our recharge station, but in front of it was a whole other world! :) This game felt light, fun and (ok Brian, I’ll say it) modern.

I was completely impressed with this Battle Arena.

The scoreboard was different from what I normally see for this system. The normal military blue screen was replaced with something fun and colorful, displaying the expected info, but with video game styling and red and green colors. I wondered if this was custom or something other operators just don’t often modify?

My experience with this space avengers arena was very positive. In fact, the whole rest of the group had so much fun they stayed on for another round.

I had to continue on my way, but was really impressed with the way they put together a well-styled arena that gave this game a whole different vibe. Nice job Action Jacks!
