All in for Albany (GA)

Only about 24 hours prior I was flying to Georgia out of Albany, NY and by this time on Laser Tag Day I was driving back over to FL/GA state line to Albany, GA to pay a visit to the All American Fun Park. I’m all in!

This was a cool pirate ship themed arena where they had upgraded in 2019 to Laserforce Gen 8. The manager told me they had been running Q-Zar right up until that point! Now, I was crossing my fingers that by signing in I would not only earn a travel achievement, but possibly save my streak. You see, there’s an achievement for playing LF every month consecutively and I wasn’t sure if it was site-specific or not. With all this travel, I haven’t actually been home any weekend in March to play a game in Syracuse, so I hoped this would count instead. Spoiler alert…it didn’t. I lost my consecutive month streak, but at least I had a good time and earned some different achievements while on the road.

The pirate ship was massive and impressive!

We played in and around the structure during a color ranked solo mission.

Bases were suspended so you had to look up to tag them.

This one was near a really cool spider web of lights, but there were several bases and beacons hidden throughout the single level floorplan.

I may not have kept my Syracuse streak, but I did earn quite a slew of achievements this game.

And I enjoyed everything about this experience in the nicely styled pirate’s arena.

Clearly the All American Fun Park offered fun as big as their entrance suggests!
