An Arena That Makes You Say “W.O.W.”

My next stop in Tallahassee was to the Station for some Delta Strike Evolution in an arena that makes you say “W.O.W.”

This is both an assessment of the size and scope of the truly original artwork as well as the overall “War Of the Worlds” theming inside.
I was joined by Kaia for a 1v1 game after we suited up and made our way through our respective team doors.

Once inside you couldn’t help be impressed by the unique neon wall art that carried across the entirety of the two story arena. This is almost like out of a comic book!

I’d take on these guys in a game!

The lower level had a couple of video base stations for power-ups tucked against the neon paint-splattered aesthetic.

On the upper level perimeter there were boxes and barrels to use for cover and tag around.

No time to lounge around during this game!

I always take notice when I see an arena done differently (no cookie cutter theming here!) so this was a winner with me. I also thought it was smart that they had multiple locations for branded photo ops (and even a little subtle marketing with product placement).

The Fun Station turned out to be one of a kind and a lot of fun…plus, though I played DS to start my day, I do believe since we played Evolution, I will count this as a bit more of the system variety I was looking forward to for Laser Tag Day!
