Celebrating Success: The Awards Banquet

The Laserforce Internationals tournament ended with a fantastic banquet to celebrate the success of all the teams and participants and to take a moment to recognize the best of the best.
This dinner was a really nice gathering and a chance to socialize and relax after an exhausting/exhilarating week for all involved!
I was delighted to bring a “History of Laserforce” display of the Laser Tag Museum Collection for players to enjoy the nostalgia and evolution of their laser tag system over the years.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious plated dinner.
We reminisced about the highlights of the week including when we exceeded our Tag 4 A Cause fundraising goal for the Alzheimer’s Association, making this the biggest Tag 4 A Cause ever! That alone made it well worth it to me to be soaked with ice water, which was a celebration of success as well, knowing that we made a significant impact as a laser tag community.
I was pleased to be joined at my table by Christine Corbett, one of our local representatives for the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter, who spoke to the group about how their donations really make a difference. It was wonderful to have her there to share her thanks and appreciation on behalf of the cause.
It was an honor to be invited to speak about the Tag 4 A Cause initiative during the Laserforce Internationals awards banquet and to realize how much impact we have made over the last six years.
This was an opportunity to say thank you to everyone who really helped us make a difference!
I also want to extend big thanks to both Amusement Today and RePlay Magazine for giving us some excellent industry press for Tag 4 A Cause!
The awards ceremony began with thanks to all the sponsors and partners, and I was proud to have TiviachickLovesLaserTag.com be among this support roster.
I was invited to present the first award, the Tag 4 A Cause Highlander Challenge golden phaser trophy, which went to Alex Boxes!
Numerous awards were given including Missile Bait (RedNecTec), Sportsmanship (Skillz), the -24K award (Rooks2NR), Golden Gun (Fear Turkey) and Melted Gun (Ender) accuracy awards, just to name a few!
Final team placements are as follows:
Third Place - Team Olympus
Second Place - Utah Heatseekers
2026 Laserforce Internationals Champions - Hidden Valley Sanch
The first place team received the victory belt and were not shy about celebrating THIS success!
This was a wonderful way to end an intense week of competition, live streaming, fundraising and fun that we’re all part of making it an exceptional Laserforce Internationals tournament week in Syracuse!
