How I Got Here (to 699)

When I decided I wanted to play my 700th laser tag arena on Laser Tag Day I was speaking a goal out into the universe and I believed I could make it happen. However, when I said it (about six weeks ago) I was about 30 arenas away from that number with Laser Tag Day quickly approaching at the end of March. The goal was a bit daunting, but I made and executed a plan.

If you’ve been counting down with me you know I have been steadily edging towards that milestone number with recent visits to Utah, Arkansas and Alabama adding to my tally. I am delighted to say that of last night I played my 699th arena! That means the next new arena I play will be on Laser Tag Day and I am so excited to be able to achieve that goal!

I have also gotten to travel to some amazing places along this journey, most recently to California, Arizona and Nevada. I’ve met lots of great people and experienced some gorgeous locales with things I would never see in New York!

This is a very busy week with plenty more laser tag adventures planned at sites I have already played, so as not to impact my arena count. I will have articles coming soon about each of the arena visits that brought me to this point. I will post them as soon as I can, but as it will take some time to properly write them all up, for now let me just give you the “Reader’s Digest” short preview version and show you where I played arenas 689-699 across three states in two days!
