Laser Tag, Sushi and an Axolotl

I spent a very enjoyable birthday complete with laser tag, sushi and an axolotl. :)
I must say, my coworkers are great. I showed up at work to find my office had been under full birthday attack!
And if you look closely, sitting there on my desk was a stuffed axolotl, a lovely gift from Kayla. He’s so cute! I spent the morning enjoying cake as my office sang a beautifully (and intentionally) off-key version of Happy Birthday before the axolotl and I hit the road.
We met up with Paul for sushi and continued on to laser tag the night away, where axolotl was riding shotgun…and then riding H2 phaser!
We headed into the briefing/vesting room and I discovered the axolotl’s feet were glowing as brightly as my phaser under those black lights!
Everything glows under the lights in the arena. Clearly Lathan has been here!
We tagged the night away and had a great time.
And I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday and asked if I was going to celebrate by playing laser tag…of course! :)
