An International Update

I’m delighted to share an update from the Tag 4 A Cause that took place last quarter with support from our laser tag friends in the Czech Republic. They wanted to include the laser tag 5K challenge as part of their tournament series and offer players a chance to support the cause in the process. I sent over a care package with medals for all the players who participated in the challenge in the Czech Republic and am glad to share the photos of these players receiving their “tag swag” sent from the United States.

The golden phaser medals were special awards provided for most steps, which went to Lucie “Lucidun” Dunovska with 48,817 steps over 32 games and most games which went to Martin Sasek with 52 games (and 61,633 steps as well). Those bonus challenges were coordinated by the players themselves and I thank everyone who participated for their support! Donations from this challenge benefitted the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Each quarter there is a new Tag 4 A Cause medal design and a new 5K challenge in support of a different cause. This quarter through March 31, 2023 the challenge will benefit The Longest Day in support of the Alzheimer’s Association.
