Iowa…Tag, You’re It!

I jokingly say I threw a dart and landed on Iowa for my next tag location, but that pretty much sums up how I selected my most recent tag travel destination.

Iowa, tag, you’re it! My first stop was over to the TBK Bank Entertainment Center in Bettendorf, IA for some Delta Strike in the “Pirate’s Revenge” laser tag arena.

My thanks to manager Adam for making it possible for me to get into a game to experience the cool pirate ship themed, two level arena. Chase took me back to the vesting area with the warning that “Dead Men Tell No Tales”, but I’m a chatterbox, so I’ll tell you everything anyway!

I took my corncob companion in to adopt a spot on one of the prop cannons.

And then proceeded to explore the arena, looking for targets and finding quite a few on the pirate ship mast.

There was plenty to see with this pirate paradise glowing brightly under the black lights.

We found our treasure in the chest hidden near the base housing.

And we came across a few “friendly faces” during the game.

I don’t know what I expected, as the name of the location is not typical, but by the end of my visit I decides that playing for the pirate’s treasure (where it’s probably earning some nice interest on the booty!) at the TBK Bank Entertainment Center was an ideal was to enjoy my first laser tag adventure of this visit to Iowa!
