Quad City MJ’s

As I drove to Malibu Jack’s Quad Cities location in Bettendorf, IA I kept thinking of the Quad City DJs and was singing C’mon Ride the Train in my head the whole drive. That’s why I will affectionately refer to this as my Quad City MJ’s adventure! ;)

I was excited to check out their Laser Invasion laser tag arena.

For the second time today I was suiting up with Delta Strike Genesis gear and checking out something cool in the briefing room. While the rest of the players were probably staring at the awesome theming on the walls, I am always impressed when I look down and see custom carpet!

We got an introduction to the game and then went into the arena, which was a rather unique set-up.

This arena is constructed with a very open floorplan and runs lengthwise like. Long corridor with alcoves all along the walls.

These alcoves provide a unique approach for cover, as they are built like tiny open rooms all the way down.

On each end I found a hex base that acted as an interactive element to the game.

An enjoyable game was had by all and when it was over I was ready for a snack, so I went over to the concession stand and ordered some food (not corn, lol) and an Icee.
