Tivia Was Here with LaserBlast at IAAPA

I have said this many times and it remains true. When it comes to creatively theming a booth for IAAPA, LaserBlast REALLY understands the assignment!

I knew from the pre-show videos I had seen that LaserBlast was building a “dinotopia” for showcasing their laser tag and Putt Mania this year and, as a reptile mama, I was excited to see what I would find. To my delight, I had a chance to play some CyberBlast with co-owner Carla Ewald, and together we went out into this prehistoric playing field to tag the targets that would relay and cause a reaction with the huge pterodactyl flying overhead.

Company founder Tim Ewald joined us…he’s the man who “hatched” the idea of LaserBlast in the very beginning!

But it was his son, company president Mike Ewald, who talked with me about how their 5G modems can allow for a laser tag game to happen in almost any terrain…even as rough as this!

Mike gave me an equipment demo and then sent me “out into the wild.”

I really got a kick out of tagging surrounded by these watchful eyes!

It’s no secret that I love to see great theming in an arena. How cool that LaserBlast brought some of that creativity out to the trade show floor!
