Members Make it Happen During Tag 4 A Cause for the Alzheimer’s Association

Tag 4 A Cause at The Fun Warehouse in Syracuse, NY, which was hosted in support of the Alzheimer’s Association, was a huge success and we EXCEEDED our fundraising goal! Thank you to The Fun Warehouse staff and members for making this possible!

It was members night, so our laser tag community came out in force (pun intended!) to support the cause. We even had members from as far away as Buffalo and Canada in attendance!

Beanz had programmed the packs to light up in purple and teal to represent the Alzheimer’s Association colors for the special games of the night.

Of course we had a high score trophy contest, but this time with TWO winners. Congratulations to DogeBuster and Fenrir!

And we added something new…Tivia’s Trivia. :) Any excuse to get a hold of the microphone, right?

We had multiple trivia winners take home swag bags of laser tag goodies.

One of the trivia questions was to identify which laser tag system our Laser Tag Day poster model Kassidy was wearing in the poster image photographed right inside this very arena. Hint…it isn’t what you think, but the answer was in plain sight on the poster!

And sometimes you just need to throw in a rubber chicken for good measure!

It was wonderful to have representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association Central New York chapter in attendance with a table to provide information.

And the cause definitely resonated. Three different individuals commented to me about how Alzheimer’s had impacted their family directly and why that made them want to donate to the cause.

We had pizza sales and a portion of the laser tag sales donated to the Alzheimer’s Association as well…we do love our pizza on members night!

Everyone who donated received a laser tag medal as a thank you gift.

It was awesome to incorporate this into our members night and be able to raise some awareness as public players came out for the all you can play games. It was promoted all throughout the facility.

And there were fun challenges to get the community involved even before the event too!
