Stepping Up to Spaceland
I love it when a laser tag experience is completely different from what I expect and that was the case when I paid a visit to Spaceland Family Fun Center and Indoor Paintball in Tacoma, WA. I had called ahead and spoken to Ashton to learn that this location uses the Netronic laser tag equipment, which I was interested to play because I have only had limited experiences with it up to this point. However, I was pressed for time and didn’t know if I would be able to get there in

Taking Time for Tactical
My next stop was short, but sweet as I made my way over to LazerX Arena in Kirkland, WA. Knowing full well that this tactical arena uses iCOMBAT equipment, I got a kick out of the fact that they are located right next door to an unrelated business called Invictus Fitness. I am a fan of irony and it is a cool coincidence. However, LazerX uses the irM4 and not Invictus, so I had to prepare myself for a tactical experience instead. Game marshal Will arranged for me to play a gam

A Seattle Vibe
Arena Sports in Mill Creek, WA had been on my radar for a while. I recall getting a recommendation that I should try to play here on my next visit to the northwest, so I made a point to visit this site and found some really cool and unusual things going on inside. First, the place is huge with lots of activities and I could tell they cater to groups, as their were youth camps throughout the building, but not to the exclusion of taking care of walk-in clientele, which I really

Game On!
My most recent laser tag adventures led me to cross the country and I found myself in the Seattle area over the weekend. My game plan was to fly into Seattle, rent a car and tag my way south to Portland for the tournament that would start competitions on Friday and finish up on Saturday night/Sunday morning. However, before I drove south, I headed about an hour north of Seattle to get my game on at Game On NW in Everett, WA. I love it when things work out smoothly and on this

Tivia’s Redemption
It has been a couple of years since the introduction of Laserforce’s redemption ticket feature that allows players to earn tickets while playing laser tag. This past weekend we had tournament practice for ‘geddon, so when we were done playing a full night of SM5 these awesome friends hung around a bit longer to help me get in three more ticket-earning games. Why did we do that? Well, I was so incredibly close to having enough tickets to claim a pretty cool redemption prize, B

The Light Shines: 5K on The Longest Day
Tag 4 A Cause began as a virtual 5K laser tag challenge and I still pledge to do 5K inside the arena every time. So on The Longest Day of June 20th (the summer solstice, which is the longest day of the year) I completed my 5K challenge inside the laser tag arena at The Fun Warehouse as we continue to raise awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association, alongside Stealth Elf and Alex Boxes who kept me moving for the challenge! I normally ballpark that it takes about ten games (obv

Members Make it Happen During Tag 4 A Cause for the Alzheimer’s Association
Tag 4 A Cause at The Fun Warehouse in Syracuse, NY, which was hosted in support of the Alzheimer’s Association, was a huge success and we EXCEEDED our fundraising goal! Thank you to The Fun Warehouse staff and members for making this possible! It was members night, so our laser tag community came out in force (pun intended!) to support the cause. We even had members from as far away as Buffalo and Canada in attendance! Beanz had programmed the packs to light up in purple and

An Attractive Arena
The title of this post is sort of a play on words because, while it was a good looking arena, it also “attracted” my attention enough to motivate a last minute detour on my way through Pennsylvania, and RNT joined me for the stop. I am also focusing mostly on the arena because on this stop we encountered an equipment issue that resulted in us checking out the space more than actually playing the game. Regardless, we made the most of it. We stopped at Two T’s Family Entertainm

Actually…It’s Still Actual Reality!
When I heard that Planet Trog in Whitehall, PA was opening for a rare night of public, walk-in laser tag, I knew I could not miss what might possibly be one of my final opportunities to play Actual Reality. You see, this location is the last remaining commercial laser tag arena in the world to still be operating the Actual Reality laser tag system, which was also true eight years ago when I first played here back in May of 2017. So, for them to still have this system be opera
