Tivigeddon 2026: Tagging Three States in One Day

Tivigeddon. Four years later, it’s still a thing. This has become an annual tradition where I break off from the pack, inviting anyone who wants to come along and tag a few more sites on my own on route to wherever the next location may be. While the Armageddon bus left Rochester, bound for Philadelphia, Ski Patrol and I hopped into my car and took the scenic route for Tivigeddon, stopping at arenas in three different states along the way to meeting back up with our group in Bensalem. Tivigeddon is on!

Our first stop was to Funtastic Adventure Park in Victor, NY because Dave wanted to play some Gel Blaster Nexus for the first time. They remembered me from my previous visit and directed us back to the arena where we watched Steve Starobinsky on the briefing video telling us how to play the game.

We put on our Gel Blaster Nexus packs and stepped out into the turf (they use actual turf in this arena) and started our game.
And, simply to have the full experience, we tried the projectile gellet version of the game too. The marshal filled up our phasers with gellets (the same equipment is used for both games) and we got ready.

For this we mask up.

It’s always cool to try something new and I’m glad we had the chance for Dave to experience Gel Blaster Nexus as our first stop for Tivigeddon.

From there DJ Jazzy Dave was the car DJ (we played a LOT of Aqua this trip!) and we headed southbound to Scranton, PA to play some Gen 8 Laserforce at Idle Hours South.

This is a cool, two floor arena with some props that are familiar, but take on a new life when you are this close to them! :)

This was a really fun time! It reminded me why I love laser tag so much.

And when we were done spending those Idle Hours in Pennsylvania we made one more stop that I needed for my arena count. Off we went to Monster Mini Golf in Turnersville, NJ.

Wow, this place impressed me! The arena itself is a single level floorplan. It’s not a complicated map, but they have lots of bells and whistles, gate control beacons and what I perceived to be generator targets in the eyes of the giant monster heads on either side.

I love the theming here! It’s a bit of a haunted house kind of motif with the giant character heads like this taggable skeleton.

The base housings are cool.

And we both found plenty of targets to tag besides just each other!

And the coffin props are (wait for it)…to die for!

But one thing really stood out to me at this location and it had nothing to do with the laser tag. Check out these amazing party rooms!

Wow! They really did this right! Right in line with their theming and actually elegant and nice looking spaces. I would want to have a party here. :)
So that was how we ended our Tivigeddon side tour of three different sites in three different states to round out Day 2 of Armageddon.
