Looking for the Details
I visited another Andretti’s Indoor Karting and Games, this one in Oklahoma City, and I now find myself looking for the details. While I have seen this gas pump prop at some of their other locations, I am now noticing things like the zero dollars price per gallon. If only! Lol! And while I have also seen this statue before, somehow the rubble at the base caught my eye a bit differently. When you play multiple arenas within a chain I think it is typical to find commonalities,

Total Immersion = Amazing Tag
My next stop was a visit to HeyDay Entertainment in Norman, OK and I have to say this was one of the most amazingly immersive experiences I have ever had playing Lasertron! Anyone who knows me will realize that is a big statement, but I was really impressed with my experience from top to bottom. I went in for a free for all game with Reign and Natalie. At first glance you will might just notice the typical Tron tubes, placed with balance on the upper and lower levels of this

A “Wild Time” at Main Event
What I love about the newer Main Event locations I have visited recently is the vivid artwork incorporated into their arena designs. Main Event in Norman, OK was a “Wild time” with their jungle adventure theming. This location has only been open for about a year and I recognized a few hallmarks that confirmed that fact. The newer arenas seem to be using very similar builds by Art Attack with bridges in either side and an in and out large room structure in the center. The dif

Laser Storm Adventures at Zone 152
This weekend the Laser Storm Nationals were taking place. While wishing everyone the best at the Nats I was having my own Laser Storm adventures visiting Zone 152 in Mustang, Oklahoma! My thanks to Brandi, the owners happened to of this facility, for coordinating an opportunity for me to check out her site. I have had this location on my radar to visit for about a year now (thanks for the tip, Gord!) and it was the main reason I decided to make a detour to Oklahoma. Very well

The Night the Lights Went Out in…Oklahoma
I was on route to a very special event in Dallas, but by a happy accident I ended up flying to Oklahoma City first. I made a beeline for the Okanarama Game Hall at Okana Resort where I prepared for a game of Lasertron with JB and brother Lucas and Max. We entered a really nice, two story Tron arena, decked out with colorful sectors. We entered a free for all game and started tagging each other. This lasted for about a minute before everything suddenly stopped. What happened?
