Battle House Breaks the Mold
Prior to my tactical laser tag session at Battle House Laser Tag in Plano, TX I had skimmed their company website, but I had not looked closely enough to notice something that was about to blow my mind. Battle House really breaks the mold in a particularly unique way. Let me tell you about my visit. I called ahead and the young woman who answered the phone was delightful and helpful as I explained that I was in Texas just for the day and would like to play a game to experienc

Mix-Match Mash-Up Really Strikz Me
There is an interesting blend of design elements going on inside the arena at Strikz Entertainment in Frisco, TX, which I got to experience thanks to an impromptu 1v1 game. I had purchased a game pass and inquired about playing it as a 1v1 with a staff member. I was told this would not be possible, so I took a seat and waited for another player to show up. In the meantime I watch as a mom comes up to the counter with her son. It appears that he wants to play, but she has a li

Racing My Way to The Colony
Time to switch gears (pun intended) and check out another of the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games locations, this one in The Colony, TX. I have been to several Andretti’s sites over the course of the last few years and one of the things I like about their laser tag arenas is that each one has been themed differently from the others. That keeps things fresh every time and makes me want to see them all. This one definitely leans hard into the gears, which certainly fits the br

Remember the Alamo!
To be honest, the whole reason that I even planned a trip to Dallas this past weekend was because I really wanted to see the Alamo-themed laser tag arena at the new Malibu Jack’s in North Richland Hills, TX. I’m delighted to say that this one is every bit as stunning as I had hoped! It was well worth flying halfway across the country to experience! I knew that this location had launched recently with Laserforce Gen 8 after reading Chris Epstein’s comments following the recent

The “Main” Parts of My Adventure
I decided upon my arrival in Texas that I would play more laser tag arenas during the course of this one day than I ever had in any single day before. The only way I could see to do this was to fill my day with multiple stops at Main Event locations among my other arena visits around Dallas. There are quite a few! Now, normally I tend to think that most Main Events are quite similar to one another, but on this day I had four very uniquely different experiences. The very first

13 Arenas in a Single Day
When my plane landed in Dallas on Saturday morning I was off and running to try to beat my previous personal record of playing ten laser tag arenas in one day. Well, I succeeded! I showed up at the first arena just as their doors opened at 9:00 am and before the clock struck midnight (barely!) I had played my 13th arena in this one single day. What an epic adventure! Now, 13 arenas means I have a LOT of articles to write about the visits I made during this Texas trip, so plea

A Customized Tiviachick Pop
When I learned that it was possible to customize your own Funko Pop online I immediately had a vision of adding a personalized laser tag figure to my collection. Well, with a little extra customization I was able to accomplish this with some specially sourced props that I added to enhance this figure. Now it is a true one of a kind…the Tiviachick Pop! Now, of course I knew it was unlikely that I would find laser tag accessories listed as choices on the website, so I started b

Beam Me Up!
My last stop before leaving the Catskills was a visit to the Kartrite Resort in Monticello, NY, which is part of the Family Entertainment Group. They opened in 2019 and their Amazequest laser tag arena is all about an alien invasion on New York City. I’m ready…beam me up! I met the manager, Lisa, who was so wonderful to coordinate a group to play in a game with me on the spot and we went in and put on our Laserforce Gen 8 packs. The game marshal took each team to start at our

Morning Tag at Liberty Heights
In a successful attempt to avoid traffic while leaving Long Island I drove north and ended up unexpectedly detouring through the Catskills where I found a bit more laser tag before the end of my weekend. First thing on Sunday morning I walked into Liberty Heights Trampoline and Adventure Park in Liberty, NY just shortly after they had opened for the day. I was ready to get my morning started with some Helios 2! I want to thank manager Chris DeSilva for coordinating a 1v1 game
